Emily Babette Gross is a Canadian-born interdisciplinary artist, musician, and aspiring filmmaker who lives and works in Los Angeles, California. She studied painting and drawing at California State University, Long Beach and graduated with her BFA in 2015. In 2023 she attained her MFA in Studio Art from the Claire Trevor School of the Arts at University of California, Irvine.

For the last ten years, Emily has been working and exhibiting in the greater Los Angeles area. Her work has been exhibited at The Carolyn Campagna Kleefeld Contemporary Art Museum, Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, Torrance Art Museum, Studio Bastille in Berlin, Art Share LA, Brea Gallery, and Central Server Works (among others). Her multi-disciplinary work includes painting, drawing, sculpture, print-making, stained glass, music, film, and installation. Thematically her work explores identity and belonging, queer identities, horror, subcultures, the performative aspects of gender, internet personas, and the concept of home.

Emily is also one-half of the darkwave duo Chateau Noir. In this project, Emily is the lead producer, lyricist, and artistic director.
